One of my greatest successes this year!  I got a call from Iraq earlier this year from a soldier stationed there who wanted to purchase a property to come home to.  His wife was then living in Kansas where he was prior to being sent to Iraq to fight for our freedom.  This soldier and his wife are expecting their first child in a few months and the only thing on his mind was providing a home for his young family here in Oregon.  After many, many conversations and emails were able to get this Veteran qualified for a VA loan and found a new build job in Oregon City for him to purchase.  Last week, we closed on his home  and his wife and future child have now moved into it.  I am so thrilled that this fine family now has a new home and my client now has one less burden to deal with while he is away working for all of us Americans.   I am also happy that he is also eligible to get an $8000. tax credit on his home purchase because he used his VA compliment during this time.  Some days, being a Realtor is so fulfilling.
